You can see the geometry of the Diverge as a road version of a modern trail bike. It provides better maneuverability and predictable steering for slippery and slippery areas and strong curves, but always with the right rigidity for the cyclist inside you. In addition to featuring a half centimeter lower bottom bracket than the previous Diverge, it features a less pronounced angle to the head tube, shorter chainstay, and shorter wheelbase. The result? A bike that performs just as well on the ground as it does on the road.
When it comes to potholes, only a wider deck with less pressure offers the same absorption, but that's where our Future Shock comes in. Not only does it easily absorb shocks, it also offers extremely predictable driving. This is because the wheelbase does not increase when going over a pothole, so when you forcefully enter a turn, you will not be surprised by poor steering or carelessness. This version of the Diverge is also special since it has a progressive spring that makes this technology the most suitable for off-road options, where we often need a stiffer suspension to absorb all kinds of potholes.
